Who am I?

First and foremost, I am curious!!! While I am an extravert, I feel more comfortable being in the background and supporting and enabling people than being center stage, I’ll do it but that not what makes my heart beat the strongest. I love learning about people and I love connecting people.

With a background in translation, interpretation and linguistics and 28 years in various roles in tech, I refused to be a manager for most of my career. When I finally accepted to become one because I was ready for a new challenge, I loved it!!! — Why? I could help them achieve their full potential and that brought be so much joy. Helping people find confidence, discover themselves, beat the odds, learn new skills, deliver new wins, etc. is really what make me feel like I am in my Element and what I am meant to do.

So when in 2025, the tech companies decided to flush many of their workforce, I got laid off with my team. It was a blessing in disguise because I was ready for a change. I was Ready for my World…

Coaching and mentoring seemed to be a natural progression for me, I loved it and I was good at it… So I joined Erickson Coaching program to sharpen my coaching skills and launched into the world truly hoping to help others and make a difference.

This site is a place where I want to help you get Ready for your World too.

What is “I am ready for the World” Interview series?

Reflecting on the relationships in my life, I realized that most of my friends were girls when I was younger. Over time, more boys and men gradually became part of my social circles.

Now that I’m older, I’ve noticed that women are once again becoming a stronger presence in my life. I’m continually inspired by their stories, the doubts, challenges and battles they overcome, their resilience, and the wisdom they carry. I am amazed by their energy, the eternal young self that still power their drive and spirits. I am humbled by the way they tackle life as their body changes.

Sadly, society often sidelines women, and particularly older women just when they have the most to offer. I’ve found deep fulfillment in sharing and listening to women’s stories, in both mentoring and being mentored.

I am Ready for the World Interview Series is my way to shine a light on women over 40. To erase their anonymity, their invisibility and help others discover them, learn from them, grow with them, and use their insights and experiences to prepare for and shape their own path… and get inspired to be Ready for their World!

You don’t have to be a woman to benefit from what they share, you just have to be human.

What’s with the crazy picture and the bold colors of this site?

Many coaching and inspiring websites use blue, green, grey, pastel and serious pictures… I want to inspire energy and I love this picture taken on the black sand beach of Vik in Iceland. I was newly divorced and reinventing myself.
